Thank you all for your lovely supportive messages,,, they mean a lot. I saw a doctor yesterday... he said is was nerve damage and would pass. I adjusted the timing of my painkillers and had a much better night with good sleep..... thanks Guys x

My heel on operated leg gets very painful at night and stops me sleeping...hence the zombie impression. I hope to see a doc today. Thanks for all your kind posts x

Clare, if they are prescription painkillers be sure you remain hydrated
