Date Posted：08/09/2022 7:48 PMCopy HTML Phillip came to me today, and said it was time to go. I looked at him and smiled, as i whispered that "I know" and seen I was asleep. All my Family were around me, and I could hear them weep. I gently touched each shoulder, with Phillip by my side. Then I turned away and walked, with My Angel guide. Phillip held my hand, as he lead the way, to a world where King's and Queens, are Monarch's every day. I was given a crown to wear or a Halo known by some. The difference is up here, they are worn by everyone. I felt a sense of peace, my reign had seen its end. 70 years I had served my Country, as the peoples friend. Thank you for the years, for all your time and love. Now I am one of two again, in our Palace up above. Poem borrowed from and written by unknown author

All the tributes and memories, pictures and especially remembering how funny and clever our Queen was has touched not only me but you all too. I saw this poem written by someone just like you or me on FB and felt it worthy of sharing...hope you approve x A princess made a promise To do her very best To serve her beloved country Till God called her to her rest The trials and tribulations State visits, garden parties Jubilees and celebrations She kept steadfastly to her vow To put her duty first To be there for her people In the best times and the worst And so throughout her long, long life Her promise she did keep For all her days, in all her ways Until her final sleep Enjoy everyday because life is too short not to xx
