Well we didn't hear a thing from the hospital today

What a lovely day we had today, sun was shining and so was Andy, he looked and felt a whole lot better.

Wound still needs draining but he is getting there. x

Sue ... I am glad you got through to the hospital... I hope all goes smoothly now.

Finally got through to the hospital this morning.

Andy needs to go back into Southampton general tomorrow to drain the wound again.

Hopefully then we will get some news on the chemo and radio treatment.

Hard times for you Sue but you are there for him and that is so important.  Hoping the coming days see an improvement.  Just dont overdo it yourself

Oh Sue I understan your total frustration about waiting for dates... once you have a date you know you are in the system but waiting and not hearing anything is absolute torture for you both. My David is very deaf but over the years we have developed out own hand signals and we get by.. but i am sure sales people etc think i am a bossy wife and don't realise i am just cutting in to help out David!

We have had a couple of iffy days.

Andy has been seeing some odd things in his eyes, a black cat and some flies and mirror shadows.

I have to keep and eye on him, as most of you will know he is deaf even though he has aids he still doesn't hear very well, so i have to be his ears and eyes and the moment.

Onward and upward, we will get through this.

Thanx again all for your support.

Just wish the hospital would get in touch with a follow up and the chemo and radio dates.

I'm sure with all that out the way he will settle more.
