Happy Tuesday everyone. I have pre-op appointment bought forward to today at 8.30am. so have a taxi booked for 7.45am.. the biggest problem will be getting someone to push me to the department as i can't was more than a few steps...one step nearer a new hip.

Clare I still have my Pauls motorised wheelchair. If you lived closer I would gladly have lent it to you x

            Just another manic Monday.

Happy Monday everyone. A rainy day ahead. My husband is still coughing a lot and it wakes me up so i  feel tired due to lack of sleep. My hip is very painful right now. Roll on 20th.

Sorry to hear about your friend Rocky.

Specs still arn't great Clare, will try them for a few more days and if not good will have to go back again.

          Here I am at last, thank you Clare for keeping the group informed of my absence, I went to see my friend yesterday and was horrified at what I saw. he is on palative care so the end is very near which will be a blessing. His wife is being very brave and she did get to visit him the other day an ambulance took her and brought her home again but at a considerable cost which as she said was worth every penny

Thank you all for your concern.

Sadly My friend passed away last evening.

Happy September everyone. My husband is a bit better, thank you for your kind get well wishes. Rocky had been to visit Mike to say final farewell. He should have things a little easier today now Mo's sister is in residence. I hope you got spec's sorted Sue.

Happy Saturday everyone. Sue, Rocky is ok but his friend Mike is not expected to last the weekend. His severely disabled wife (Mo)has to have someone with her 24/7 so Rocky has been sleeping there and helping out as it is still being run as a B&B.. though only a few guests. Mike is in hospital in another part of Cornwall. Rocky is a kind and caring soul who doesn't keep his good works for Sunday in Church... i just hope he doesn't overdo it as he is no spring chicken. He hopes to be back soon as Mo's sister is coming to stay for a week.

Hope your hubby improves daily Clare, I assume he was sent home with meds?. Great that your op is going ahead in Sept and I'm sure David will be well by then.

Is Rocky ok? I notice he hasn't posted for a few days....x

Happy Friday everyone. My husband's cough was awful in the night and neither of us got much sleep. I now have a definite date for hip op on 20th September, i hope my husband will be up to looking after me by then.

Child minding again today, just off to the park.
