Today I had to look after my nearly two year old  grandson for a couple of hours , that’s after we took Andy to hospital to get his bloods done.

Then a visit from our vicar friend with her two goldies.

I haven’t had time to post so will try and catch up after dinner.

Linda, I am sorry archie is still poorly, its a shame he wont eat plain boiled rice because I know it works.  Sue, the sun is female so what do you expect haha.  Marilyn, enjoy your day too.  Sharon, fry up some onions, part fry the okra, then put in a pan with water and tomato puree.  If wanted add some pork or lamb to the mix, its delicious.

Morning everyone. Another night the same. Second visit to the vets they sad add plain boiled rice or potato unfortunately Archie wouldn’t even eat the chicken with the rice and he hasn’t eaten potato either so he’s having just plain boiled chicken and white fish at least he’s eating. Thank you all for asking after him will let you know when we hear back on the samples. Have a good Tuesday everyone x

It's just the cats this morning.  Hubby went to a friend's house for breakfast with 1 other friend.  They try to get together every few months to catch up.  I am having coffee and posting in groups. I will re-pot some plants later.  It is sunny and 58F.

Bob, all your stuff sounds good except the orka.  I planted cherry tomatoes yesterday.

Megan, give Archie some boiled rice with the chicken.

Sue, good luck with the weeding.  All is good here at the moment.  Sharon, I have white and striped courgettes, black beauties, Cyprus pumpkin and Cyprus Marrows.  The Okra went in yesteerday and when Im done here am off to plant some plum tomatoes.

Well let’s see if I can post today. I wrote too soon that Archie seemed to be on the mend as not 10 minutes later he had another bad dose of diarrhoea. Hes eating boiled chicken and is ok but I’m really worried as today is day 8. We have samples to take to the vets to be sent off. Thank you all for keeping him in your thoughts. 

I can’t post in some of Bobs threads also Sue. It just seems to be ones I write in not posting tags

Had a nice surprise visit from my daughter and children today.

So far, May's weather has been cloudy and cold.  Where is our spring weather?  Son is coming over this afternoon for a visit.  He only lives 5 minutes away, but we don't see him much.  He is busy with work and going out with friends.  Our older son lives in Tennessee, so we only see him once a year.

Bob hope your garden is growing well.

Happy May Day to all and TGIF.  The days seem the same as I am retired.  It is cloudy and 56F.

They are like babies Linda, you know they are sick but they cant tell you whats wrong and its a real worry.  I hope he feels better soon.

Had Archie back at the vets yesterday got sample bottles to do over the weekend and to hand in Monday. He’s on chicken and rice. He’s not had a good night. He has me worried this morning he’s not wanting to eat. May pop back to the vets if he’s not going to eat to get something to keep him hydrated. He was retching a bit.  It’s awful when they aren’t well.
