Not nice here in the Duchy

Yesterday's thunderstorm flooded the garage and flooded the charger unit of my husband's mobility scooter . Fortunately he had mended and drier charger and got garage dry. I hope everyone is having a happy Tuesday x

Time with dogs is very well spent Sue, they live in the moment and show the affection they have. I hope you are having a happy time with Margot. Just had the heaviest and longest Thunderstorm i can remeber, just got in when it happened,glad about that. Have fun, keep safe and keep smiling x

Awww Beth is lovely Sue you have the best of both worlds with Margot  too like grandchildren we love them to bits but nice to hand them back. Horrible here today it’s pouring.  Stay safe my friends xxx

Yes Clare, wont be long until autumn, my fave season.

I'm  not keen on changes of season, takes me a while to get used to but I do like autumn when it comes along and settles in.

Well tomorrow I have Margot here (Maggot) as I call her sometimes.(So I won't be around on here much tomorrow.)

I will have to keep her away from my cats, she loves them but they hate her lol.

I saw Beth today my vicars Goldie, she has got so beautiful. She is nearly a yr old now.

She could be Tia's double.

In fact the vicar asks me a lot about how Tia was and it seems that Beth is so much like Tia was.

Same traits with Goldies, they love a certain family member but they only want to walk with that one and sit in the middle of a path if they don't want to walk with another.

Sausage dogs however are so different, they will walk with anyone and don't care at all as long as they can rule the roost.

Beth has had a phantom pregnancy so she's a bit down at the moment.

I remember Tia when she had her phantom pregnancy.

Dogs are a bit like humans really, they go through more than we know.

Beth gets so many cuddles from me, she knows I love her and I know she loves me.

Dull , damp and drizzly so staying in today. Will cook a nice lunch and catch up on ironing which i enjoy. Wishing everyone a happy Sunday and a good week ahead. It feels like Autumn, wonder if it is?

The thunderstorms came yesterday afternoon, cooler and greyer today. Staying in, made my Tesco order. Just made a bread and butter pudding for tea. Wishing everyone a fun Friday x

Not up to much today, having a lazy one although there is work to be done.

Rather miffed as promised thunder storms did not happen. 31c again, quietly posting and melting, Alaska sounds like a great place right now!

Happy Tuesday everyone, I was sorry to hear about your Ches Megan, i hope the tablets work . Yes its even hotter today, poor animals. We got out to Exmouth this morning, we got there by 9.30am and the sea front parking was all taken so we went to a lovely Park and parked in the shade and watched humans and dogs going walkies. Back home now and posting and relaxing. I know what you mean about people ignoring Social Distancing advice Rocky,I think they have happily let the pandemic slip their mind x

I hope Ches is ok today Megan.

Poor animals in this heat but they always seem to shelter in cool places.

Not up to much today, its far too hot.

Plz do to hear it Sue. We had our Ches at the vets this morning as he’s been limping badly alarm bells rang as when this happened to Megan they said straight award it was something bad and she had to have her front leg and shoulder amputated thankfully they think it could be arthritis as he’s 14 so he has some meds hopefully will help as I know only too well how painful arthritis is.  Clare I hope you manage to get out tomorrow xxx

Not so hot here today, we were promised Thunderstorms but only a couple of claps, i love thunder and lightening. Feeling a bit flat so hoping to pop out tomorrow after the gardener has been, havent been out since last Tuesday. I cant afford a holiday this year so may get a blow up boat and float in the English channel, then see which hotel the government put me up in!

Pus cat is fine thank you Megan, although still a bit loose but i  still think its the heat causing it. 

She sleeps a lot, well they both do they are old ladies.

It's so hot again today, its hard to find any shade in the garden....phew!
