My daughters text telling me Margot was excited for her birthday tomorrow.

a phone call with my eldest daughter this morning when she said 'mum you always make me laugh so I feel much better now'.

I've just come off a group video call with my eldest son from my middle granddaughter(his daughter) from her new home in Felsted, Essex. It was lovely to see around it and hear her excitement for when she finally moves there in May with her boyfriend(who moved there last week) after she finishes Uni in Bristol 

Getting loads of work done today, that's what made me smile.

lots of hugs from my eldest girl when my eldest boy and I visited her this morning. She was sooooooo happy to see us. AND there were  double smiles and hugs cos my eldest grandson was visiting her too

An early morning FT call from my daughter in NZ. I had literally just woke up and was still in bed 

a little boy(about 18 months), sat in the kiddie seat of the trolley in the Supermarket this morning. He started playing beep a boo with me so of course I played back and he giggled. Then his dad said to say bye bye when we moved on which he did AND he blew me several kisses!! My heart melted and he defo made me smile 

Meeting up for lunch and drinks today with ex workmates. We always have a blast, smiles and laughter all round 

The attitude of the young parcel delivery man. He was very bubbly and said 'have a lovely day, yeah?' as he left

a video call from my friend who is doing a tour around Canada for 10 days. So good to see her
