Waking up to sunshine

An early morning FT call from my daughter in NZ. I had literally just woke up and was still in bed 

a little boy(about 18 months), sat in the kiddie seat of the trolley in the Supermarket this morning. He started playing beep a boo with me so of course I played back and he giggled. Then his dad said to say bye bye when we moved on which he did AND he blew me several kisses!! My heart melted and he defo made me smile 

Meeting up for lunch and drinks today with ex workmates. We always have a blast, smiles and laughter all round 

The attitude of the young parcel delivery man. He was very bubbly and said 'have a lovely day, yeah?' as he left

a video call from my friend who is doing a tour around Canada for 10 days. So good to see her

Knowing I only ate half the takeaway last night so I can enjoy it again tonight. No cooking again, result! haha

researching a nice pub to visit near my daughter for lunch tomorrow 

I gave my son a small Happy Birthday topper with a candle for the cronut I bought him yesterday(he's not a lover of birthday cake or sweet things really). He sent me a pic with the topper on it, candle lit and promised me he made a wish but couldn't tell me what the wish was or it wouldn't come true...... He's 39!!

wrapping my youngest sons birthday present this morning. Can't believe Phil is 39 on Monday, geez!! 

      Nothing so far but it's early so I am sure something will.

having 2 wood pigeons eating moss off the astro turf in my garden right by my back door, so lovely to see them up close. Gawd they are very chunky birds who never ventured as near before as I have always had cats

Trying to brush Beth my friends goldie, she wasn't in the mood and ran away from me.

it was dark and total silence when I first went into my sons this morning. As soon as I opened the curtains and said 'good morning boys'(to the birds) they had a stretch and started talking to me. 

aaawwwww bless em, it made me smile xx

a surprise text from a friend to ask if she can visit me later today. I love visitors so it was a very nice surprise 

My sister telling me off for something silly i did regarding electricity, lol, i still feel like her baby sister.

Thank god she's around sometimes  x

glorious sunshine and that I'm out with family for lunch today!
