We were driving back from a pub lunch after going to the jewellery. Popped in Sainsburys for a few bits on the way through too

I was filling a tall washing basket that I'm throwing out with the rotted pieces of my old shed roof with felt included that my 2 sons demolished for me last month. My youngest boy is having a Spring clear out now so is booking a rubbish collection soon and he has invited me to add anything I have to go too, his treat this time. I paid last month when he added things from his house to my items so he wanted to return the favour..

I haven't stopped all morning, phew! Gathered up all the laundry for washing, dusted and hoovered all of the downstairs and the stairs and then I decided to clean the oven! Gawd that's a job as we all know but so rewarding to see it sparkle again haha. Just hung all the washing up to dry so now chill time with a nice cuppa and some air fryer victoria sponge I made the other day.

I was being flabberghasted! 

A gold charm bracelet Paul bought me maybe 2 decades ago, has had a broken clasp for many years. I began questioning whether it was in fact gold at all because the clasp had split in two rather than just detached. I thought I'd get it valued today to make sure it was worth repairing and the jeweller told me to insure it for 4 times the amount Paul had told me he paid for it! Of course it may be because gold prices have rocketed since purchase OR he didn't tell me the huge amount he had paid as he knew I'd tell him off for spending so much . Needless to say I'm getting it repaired AND having a safely chain fitted so I can wear it with pride again
