chatting with a Council surveyor. I booked an appointment with him to inspect the 40ft L shape slope path that leads from the roadside to my house and the drain cover outside my front door. It is raised by an inch or more due to the tarred path being in a poor state. He agreed that all are in need of repair so some resurfacing to level out the divots that could be trip hazards and a new levelled drain cover will happen in approx 4 weeks time.

yes all sorted Sue. Apparently a computer company had tried to set up a recurring payment on my account and it flagged up as a fraud warning with my bank. No money was taken and the fraud officer I spoke to cancelled my debit card there and then and will send out a new one asap. Thank goodness for my banks commendable fraud and scam warnings, keep up the good work!! 

I was painting my 3X3 concrete front door step and the 3 patio slabs next to it in black cement paint. It was almost like tar . It looks great and totally different from when the metal wheelchair ramp was there which was the idea really.....

My daughter visited so the concreting didn't happen but I'm now going to take all the teddies off my bedroom wardrobe, hoover and dust them and the top of the wardrobes. There's a small amount of mould on the ceiling which I'll Cilit Bang haha, then repair the edging boards across the front of one wardrobe that's been broken for years before replacing the 50-100 teddies I have, then I'll hoover upstairs. The tasks I set myself mind! haha

Oh my days!! Did I say 50-100 teddies?? More like 150-200!!!

I finally finished sorting the room at 3.45, took about 2 1/2 hours, phew, but it looks so much neater and is dust free now
