                   Happy Slip Day to you all. Weatherwise its the usual start gey and gloomy with 12 degrees. I decided to split my CCWD into two days so I will finish the rest today, The first day for the raffle of my Christmas Cake went well with £20 raised in the day big smile from me..  I think they will put up the remaining Christmas Lights this week end and hopefully thread the power cable through my window as I supply the electric for three lanterns on the outside of the building.

              Weather wise its the usual this morning not good at all. Thanks to that stupid Tory Government I had a Tax Bill of £258  in their gross stupidity the didnt increase my personal allowance when they increased my State Pension bliddy idiots , I have emailed my MP with the facts about it all so I will wait with interest to see what he can do if anything. CCWD  equals Christmas Card Writing Day I will get them out of the way nice and early.

                Nippy but nice this morning with 8 degrees and a mixture of blue and grey skies . I really must get my fish tanks emptied and cleaned and put up for sale, someone will get a bargain as all they will need is water and fish. Mid day shift at Harrods today it continues to take very good money with over £150 yesterday and last week was £950 thank to all our customers.

               Just a little sunshine to chase Storm Bert away but not a lot its mainly grey skies . My Christmas Cake is done  and I will take it over to the shop later to start the sale of raffle tickets , the Easter Cake I made raised £140 so I am hoping to beat that and I have a stall at the Christmas Fayre on the 6th and 7th December where I will have Pickled Onions for sale plus some small Christmas Card about 40 and in three of them there will be a £5 note   so you pay £1 and if you are lucky you win  £5. A normal Monday today with the closing shift at Harrods.

                Storm Bert is still with us but a tad calmer now so its wet and windy again. Like Sue I will be icing and decorating my Christmas Cake today  , then putting it in the shop with raffle tickets to raise money for our Church. I will cook one of my most favourite roasts today that is Pork Belly bliddy yummy it is. I woke up feeling achy and shivery this morning so I tested for Covid but thankfully it was negative., sigh of relief from me.

              Well Storm Bert is here but more of a wimper at the moment. Patch and his newer crew members of the Penlee Lifeboat are launching at 10am  for a rough weather exercise for those new members I hope they are not sea sick, good luck to them. Not much happening today juts a Morrisons delivery this afternoon, like Sue its the jet set life for me , the first bit of excitement is going to the shop for my paper.

Ere Slipalong  ow are e gettin on with night scule asked Denzil? wel to tell e the truth Den  I got there at 6.46pm fer a 7pm start and I tuk me supper  and a snack as well case i got ungry in the nite, gud thinkin mate sed Den , ess I thought so replied Slipalong all was goin well as it might yer see but comes 9pm and the Tutor sez thank you all its bin a gud lesson tonight, ere sez I is this a break before the next lesson ? no Mr Trevaskis  the next lesson will be tomorrow evening. well I'llbe damned sez Slipalong I thought we woz going to be ere all night.

               Happy Slip Day, always remember  When the moon hits your eye lika biga piece of pie its a gonna turn black, Christmas Cake is baked and the smell was  wonderful, I am thinking of making another for my self .Its a lot warmer this morning with 7 degrees but cloudy as always not to worry though its a free day for me and I will go and have a coffee with Maureen dreckly.Then I will see what mischief I can get up to.

                Oh dear me we have liquid sunshine this morning and only 3 degrees and snow on Bodmin moor that definitely isnt good . Today is the day that I will make my Christmas Cake and my flay will smell delightful isnt that lovely. I have had to put my night store heater on in here  for the first time  so its nice and cosy first thing.
