                 Well here we are not a Manic Monday but Certainly  a wet and windy one, oh well we will just  have to put up with it ,better days are ahead , when they will arrive is another matter.

                 Well it's absolutely persisting down here not lovely at all. This old curmugeon fell out of bed last night how did you do that you ask? Easy I just turned over and there I was on the floor

Needless to say I din't get a lot of sleep and I am  dull of aches and pains this morning.

               Wel now how can I start the day off? it's nippy grey and windy ideal for staying in and wait for Morrisons to arrive between 2 and 3pm proper job. Apart from that it's a peaceful day here in the Duchy and a lazy one .

               Sunshine came creeping through my window this morning, it's either that or they left the street  lights on. Poor Slipalong is down in the dumps, he didn't get on St. Just Town Council, they  said he would be a disturbing influence, now I cant believe that can you? well yes i can but i would never tell him, I think that Denzil is going to take him out for a trip somewhere to cheer him up

               The only good thing about  today is that it's one day nearer the weekend and pay day, as for the weather forget it. It's a good day to stay at home and slob that to me sounds ideal.

               Unlike yesterday I woke at a sensible time this morning iy's still grey skies though, as my friend would say  'Just Cope'. The eye screening went well yesterday they are in good condition thankfully. My new glasses still have not arrived which does not suprise  me as I played hell with them yesterday so now they are making me pay, keep smiling Rocky

                Dawn is just breaking and she isn't very happy about it poor girl. Don't mention glasses to me, the wretched things still haven't arrived I rang them yesterday they told me they would find out where they were and phone me back, did they? did they hell as like this is the first time I have had problems with Specsavers and it just might be the last. Being Diabetic I am off to have my eyes pictured this morning this morning oh happy day I must remember to take sun glasses with me otherwise every thing will look Orange.

Great pic Rocky hope the new glasses are fine my neighbour paid  over £500 for hers and they’ve not been right she’s had 3 eye tests and got them back yesterday hopefully they’re fine now

I hope ur glasses are ok Rocky when they arrive. Andy needs to go back as his aren’t right. I was talking to our Cornish cousins down under in Australia earlier, his wife made pasties for tea last night, they looked a proper job.

               The sun is out the sky is blue I love it don't you. Of course you do it gives you such a lift. My new glasses were due to br delivered last Friday so I waited in sure enough they didn't arrive, I have just been on the phone to them , now they tell me that they have to find out what has happened to them and they will get back to me    Mmmm we shall see, I was going to town this morning but have put it off if they dont arrive there will be hell to ply I assure you.

             Grey skies again but there is a bit of blue so it's not all bad just most of it. The Dentist's number is 2.30 Tooth Hurty oh never mind. They have a wonderful nrew lighting system over on the Mount below is an example of it.

The St. Michael didnt break down yesterday she was on sea trials after her summer refit.not much going on here today Morrisons well deliver between 1.30 and  the Dentist's number,  now what is that you are all saying , well watch this space tomorrow

                   Back  to normal today with grey skies. I see the St Michael making her first apperance of the winter months , the Mount will close at the end of the month and then be towd to Falmouth for her annual refit. Having looked don another camera I think the St Michael has broken down, not a good start for her.
