                                           A good start to hump day with clear skies so far, fingers crossed it continues.  Agh so another chinese to night  velly nice.

It was good to be back in the town hall last night and the acoustics  were good and I could hear everyone, the new curate addressed the council as our Mayors Chaplain was otherwise engaged well done Sophie you did a great job, have a great day everyone.

                                          as you can see the sea is flat calm and not much wind , Light Airs is the term I believe.

Back to our twice monthly Council Meetings tonight and deep joy in the Town Hall plus we have a full council at last.

The rest of the day will be spent slobbing proper job.

                                          Here we are Sunday again, yesterday was the annual swim around the Mount and i believe there were 100 swimmers all swimming for charity well done to all of them.

A meal out tonight I hope Mike doesnt crucify the lamb saves me cooking and the company is good wish me luck.

                                         A day off from cooking breakfast as Mike can manage making 4 rounds of toast so i had a lie in till seven am lazy Rocky. As you can see from the camera its a cracking start to the day with what looks like spring tides.

On the 25th of this month we are restarting our Community Breakfasts in the Community Hall these are free but donations are welcome of course, I will be helping out in the kitchen, and on Tuesday of next week we start our Council meetings again after our summer break so a busy time for the end of the month.

                                         Another week is over as they say time flies, nine of us sat down for a chinese meal last night  in the tea garden at Rosario and very enjoyable it was lots of chat and wine flowed very freely. Still no thunderstorms that were forecast but a warm humid start to Friday.

                                          A misty showery start to the day with thunderstorms forecast, do I care, not in the slightest as today is a day for me to do what i want to do.

Yesterday was manic with the funeral and then Harrods but all passed very smoothly thankfully.

As you said Rocky, not such a nice morning today. Cloud which hinders the top view of the Mount and there are rain spots on the camera. I still find it very interesting and peaceful to gaze upon though and there was a party of 4 who ventured onto the left path and walked out a few feet to meet the sea...beautiful

                                         Not so nice this morning as you can see from the camera, I went to a committee of the Cancer Shop last  evening and I was gobsmacked from April of this year till August we have raised over £30,000 wow very satisfying.

A funeral at 12 noon today at the local Crem in Camborne then a shift in Harrods  busy busy.

Another cracking start to Chooseday its already 17 degrees, we all had Fish Finger Baps last night at Mikes place great fun with lots of chat and of course Sherbets and on Thursday we are all having Chinese as Bob and Angie go home on Friday but another 2 friends arrive from Grantham this week end so still lots of catching up to do.

My throat is a lot better thanks Caz  I can now talk normally  whatever that is.

The sea is right out this morning so lots of walkers trekking to The Mount. Looks like a lovely day and any mist has lifted revealing lovely blue sky

The top of the morning to you all, well my plans for a visit to see my cousins didnt happen as I didnt feel up to travelling so I had a peaceful day at home.

Its misty again sad to say I cant see across the bay, rumour has it that Denzil and Slipalong tried to join in the Tour of Britain cyclists yesterday as they passed through St Just, what are those two like.

The same start to Sunday as it was yesterday very misty, we had a great time with our Welsh friends i didnt get home till gone five and there were numerous empty bottles.

My throat is improving slowly and today I am off to see my cousins in St Austell so I wont be around much today.

 Looking at both cameras it is very misty this morning hopefully the sun will burn that off. Our Welsh friends have arrive so we are meeting up at lunch time for a few sherbets and a chat,also a lovely couple from Grantham are here as well so plenty to catch up on with my throat that is not good but hey ho its off to chat we go.

That was a massive scare for me yesterday, I still have a very sore throat other than that I am feeling fine and will return to cooking duties this morning followed by a slob day to really top up the batteries. There are still lots of people down here  and the Charity Shop continues to do well.
