The council meeting went well and today I have my church councillors hat on  at least it is at a reasonable time of 11 am.

My new printer should arrive in the next few days and I must order a new battery for my camera as this one is dead

Ere Denzil ave you ever bin on one of they airyplane thingys , nah mate i avent ave you, ess i went isles of scilly t'other day from Lands end , wel we walked out to the airyplane and youg maid sed mornin please sit where you like so I settled meself down in a very nice seat with a good view, well next thing you know up comes this young maid agin and sez sorry sir

you cant sit there why sez i you sed i could sit where i wanted so ere i sit

but sir she sed you will ave to move , why sezs I  because sir that is where the pilot sits, oh my gar sez i  i ad better move then, thank you sir she sed .

Looking chilly there, a bit brighter here.

                              Welcome to February but the usual grey start with 8 degrees, a usual Tuesday for yours truly with a shift at Harrods and a Council meeting tonight, There are a few more people about of late so Mz is starting to come out of her winter slumber. I will order mt new printer today and it will be here tomorrow  Amazon are amazing the way they get your orders to you so quickly and to think they started by selling books.

                              Monday again and a gloomy start to the week with 8 degrees so not to bad. Yesterdays lunch was great good food good  chat what more could you want highlight of the day is bringing the rubbish bin in its to much excitement for one day.

                              Its not looking to bad out there today, peaceful and quiet. I am out to lunch today with friends at the Cutty Sark  a nice change and it will save me cooking and washing up lazy Rocky

As for Denzil and  Slipalong they were last seen at Jethro.s funeral but seemingly have gone to ground no doubt they will surface at some time and get into their usual mischief.

                              A foggy day in Marazion town but it is 8 degrees so not to bad. It was strange not posting in the group but we had to pay our respects to Paul and thank you everyone for not posting. Now we have news of Beth's husband crossing the bar a very sad time for her.

My zoom meeting of last night we postponed till next week as there were only 2 of us there.

A quiet day is planned for the Rockster as yesterday I spent 90 minutes on the phone with an adviser from HP Inks trying to get my printer online but to no avail, it is printing but needs WiFi connection as I get my Ink Cartridges from them, so I will sell this one and buy a new one  which I think is the best option.

                             A very very grey start to Wednesday with 5 degrees, not what you would call tropical. A long Council meeting last night it didnt finish till 10.30pm but we now have a full council as a new Councillor was elected last evening. As for today just a shift at Harrods and thats it. Happy to say my printer is up and running which is a big relief. Sue some people here swim everyday crazy I call them.

                              Once again we stop the mighty roar of Marazions traffic to bring you the latest news of this part of the duchy not that there is much at this time of year, even those two rascals over to St Just are behaving which is very strange and worrying. We had a zoom meeting of the Queens Platinum Jubilee Task and Finish Group last night and it was good to see Lady Mary from the Mount with us and contributing

some ideas she is so different to her miserable husband which is good.

Full Council Meeting tonight and another zoom on Thursday so a busy but happy week.

                               Grey skies, calm sea and 4 degrees not a bad start to Sunday,there are people down at the Gwelva landing  what they are doing there at this early hour is beyond me but if they are happy thats all that matters.A quiet day is planned with not much excitement , I will phone my youngest son to see if he can help with my printeras he has greater knowledge about these things.

                               Grey skies, calm sea and 6 degrees not a bad start to Saturday, Sue the problem is that Talk Talk sent me a new router and of course the printer doesnt recognise it and I'm blessed if it can get it going again but I will not be beaten .

Not much on here today just a normal day I think  I might have a wee walk later on but thats about it.

This happened to mine,it worked one day then stopped.

Have you checked the ink and checked that the paper is flat and checked that the door is shut where the ink cartridges go?

I didn't get chance to look at the cam today.

Have a good weekend all, hopefully i will be seeing Beth tomorrow, my  friend the vicars Golden Retriever.

                               Clear blue skies but only 1 degree, three brass monkeys have run down the street looking for a blacksmith .

Another free day for me but I will have to sort my printer out as its not connected to the internet or so it says, it was printing ok yesterday then threw a fit and stopped, I will not be beaten. Enjoy your day.

                               A grey start to Thursday with 7 degrees which is ok i guess at least its dry.

My eyes are ok thankfully, I got there an hour earlier but they did the job straight away which was good, I walked back to the bus station through town which was very quiet as can be expected at this time of year, so all in all a good day and today is a free day so some housework is in order.

                               A foggy day in Mz town, not a brilliant start to the day which is going to be a busy one, I will open Harrods at 10am then catch a bus to town as i have to have my eyes photographed every 12 months as I am diabetic and today is the day.

Mz town council own two phone boxes it town  and last night  the Queens Platinum Task Group had a meeting to a meeting to decide what to do with them and then take our ideas to full council next week, it was decided to ask the school to look after the one at the top of town which is in quite good repair, the one opposite the folly field is in a much worse state and badly needs a refurb which of course will cost money so we have two options to put before full council of which one to do, watch this space.

                                A partly cloudy sky this morning with 7 degrees which is better than yesterday, nothing much happening here today, I will be in Harrods from 12 till 2 pm and thats it. We have a young hooligan who is driving his motor bike through the town at speed in the early hours of the morning which is disturbing a lot of people, he has been reported to the police so we will see what happens.

                               A cracking start to Sunday and 10 degrees so a good day ahead methinks. A restful day for me with nothing planned apart from going to friends for dinner tonight which will be nice, saves cooking and washing up. It is strange to see deserted streets here its like lockdown all over again but no boozy parties Te He.
