                Oh dear me we have liquid sunshine this morning and only 3 degrees and snow on Bodmin moor that definitely isnt good . Today is the day that I will make my Christmas Cake and my flay will smell delightful isnt that lovely. I have had to put my night store heater on in here  for the first time  so its nice and cosy first thing.

               A bright cheerful morning to start Hump ,Day isnt that lovely. I have to post our local newsletter to Australia and Germany this morning  then the closing shift at Harrods and thats my day all over before it begins .

                 The rain it it is still Raineth and gloomy with it not lovely at all. I am doing a stand in shift at Harrods from 12 noon till 2pm today, In Penzance we have a shop called The Weigh In and they do an excellent Christmas Cake mix all you have to supply is Butter and an Orange all the rest comes in the pack which only costs £6.50, I had one delivered the other day so I might have a crack at it later today,  That blasted 24 hour ECG  thing dint work so now I have to have another fitted on the 2nd December  and the following day I have a Heart Scan jet set life for me .

                 The rain it raineth as in the picture by Norman Garstang painted a few years ago .Are you one of those people who has the TV on first thing in the morning?, personally I like peace and quiet in the morning so I can contemplate  the day and form a rough routine to follow not that I do I might add but its good to think of these things , well thats my excuse and I am sticking to it . I managed to catch the St Michael in todays picture as it brings the Island children and early shoppers over from the Island.

                No rain yesterday so its going to try again today, i had a better sleep last night without that wretched ECG thing on my chest on the 3rd December i am going for a heart scan but locally thank the lord. Today is another lazy day apart from cooking a Roast Chicken dinner later. Holy Moly the sun has just come out isnt that lovely, enjoy your Sunday everyone.

               Rain is forecast for today, well it makes a change and it will keep the dust down, This blasted ECG thingy is a pain I could'nt get comfortable in bred last night so I am a bit bleary eyed this morning, a friend is taking me to the surgery to return it at 9.30am after that I will go and have a coffee with Maureen that done the world is my lobster well a Morrisons delivery this afternoon.

                Oh dear after a couple of nice days we are back to doom and gloom , not good for the soul at all. I am having a 24 hour ECG fitted later this morning so they can see what my heart is up to still beating I hope .  I now have 30 jars of Pickled Onions  29mwill be given away or some sold for Church Funds  along with a Christmas cake  oh happy day see ya.

               Happy Thursday to you all not a bad start to the day. I must say that I am very impressed with Specsavers Audiology my new hearing aids are fantastic and I am hearing sounds I never heard before, their back up is second to none as well so huge thanks to them. I shall be pickling the last of my onions today and possibly making a Christmas Cake which I shall raffle for Church funds.

              We  have sunshine again today. Later today I go for an ESG as the Doc seems to think this is the cause of my falls, time will tell I supposeI am not over confident about it. A mid day shidt at Harrods today then home to make a Chicken Byriani for tea.

                Its November so its grey and gloomy. I am seeing my Doc at 11am this morning as my back is giving me awful pain this I think is a result of my two falls on Saturday so it must be sorted tout sweet, apart from that all I have is the closing shift at Harrods.

               Would you believe it we have sunshine this morning, this is good for the Armistice Parade which takes place ay 10.45am, sadly this is the first one i have missed in 50 years as yesterday I had two nasty falls  and this morning I am stiff and aching all over and having difficulty in walking time for a walking stick methinks, and a day of complete rest.

              When your smiling when your smiling the whole world smiles with you, sadly there isnt much to smile at down here right now apart from the fact that we have got our town bac. It;s grey and gloomy  as you would expect for November. My weeks of sleeping at Rosario are now over it tires me out up and down there every da, Maureen completely understood and I will still continue to go and visit her for a chat and coffee.
