I'm just back from a 70s music w/e away in Brean. Me and Paul booked it Nov 2021 whilst there at our last trip away together. He SO enjoyed going to these events that I always booked for the next year while there the year before. I cancelled the two booked in March as it was too soon after Pauls death in the January for me to feel able to attend but my eldest son and middle granddaughter talked me into going last w/e by coming with me and I'm so glad they did. Of course I was anxious as to how friends me and Paul had made over the years would react to me being there without him. I really didn't want too much sympathy and have to relive his death by explaining details to lots of people individually. As it was, several asked how I was, gave me a hug and then moved on to chatting without any awkwardness. It was all I could have asked for :).

I had a lovely brown bear arrive in the post today. Rocky sent him and here he is meeting my beary family, He was found wandering on Bodmin Moor and he has settled into his new home with his new friends. Thanks Rocky x
