Yes the treatments are gruelling and tiring for you both but it's good to read it's not going too bad. Such a shame to miss your grandsons 5th birthday but as you say Sue, it's wise to avoid anyone with even a slight cold while Andy is undergoing treatment. I'm sure you'll both enjoy the respite of no hospital visits this w/e despite the predicted awful weather lol.

Day four of Andy's treatment.

Not going too bad but a bit stressful, he's very tired and so am I.

We were hoping to go to grandsons 5th birthday tomorrow but both the boys have colds so we have to stay away i think.

We have to wear masks again at the hospital, the new strain of Covid is going about so best we stay safe during the treatment.

Looking forward to this weekend, no hospital for two hole days.......YES! but he still has to take the chemo med but no radio over the weekend.

Next week starts again with both, hospital for 5 days, then the weekend off and then the same the week after but everyday is closer to Andy getting better.

December he gets the month off and then in the new year the treatment starts at the hospital again.

well all the drugs arrived today, about 25 packets. Chemo, anti sickness and antibiotics. I had a fine time sorting that lot out. Radiotherapy starts Monday so we are going to make the most of this weekend, maybe have a beer and a takeaway, he will love that .
