Thanx Caz. Funny you should mention this because we’ve just ordered from Sainsburys and have been going through all the different drinks he might fancy. I’ve tried him on lemonade today as he’s not keen on water. Also have ordered stem ginger. He couldn’t get on with ginger tea, I didn’t think it was too bad.

Tomorrow another hospital visit to pick up the stronger chemo, I’m dreading it for him.

I do wish his wobbly head would go, I’m sure it all wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t for that.

Chemo does seem to diminish appetite and taste buds I found so offering whatever and whenever he fancies something is your only option really. Maybe flavoured water would be worth a try? My Paul would drink pints of various flavoured waters/squashes and egg mayo sandwiches were a particular fav of his lol

All the best to you both xxx

Enjoy everyday because life is too short not to xx

Andy is struggling a bit on this stronger Chemo, he doesn't fancy much food and very tired , only to be expected.

I keep  trying to false water onto him but he's not keen on that either.

He's certainly not looking forward to the next stronger dose.

I'm trying to keep him busy with word search and solitaire.

He appreciates your concerns and asking after him.

Thank you all from me too.

X

I'm sure the cold Andy has isn't helping while he undergoes the chemo and his appetite will be reduced. Be reassured though, that if he wasn't well enough they wouldn't do the treatment so it means he's strong which I'm sure will be very comforting for you((hugs)).

Great that Andy has a chemo free week approaching so you can both enjoy doing as much or as little as you want together. Hospital visits are so draining

His immune system is probably low due to the chemo and there really is a nasty virus going round that lingers for weeks.  I hope things start to improve for you both

Andy's not having a good time at the moment, on top of the new dose of Chemo, he's got a rotten cold.

He's trying to keep his chin up though.

I'm worried because he's not eating well but i think its the Chemo and cold doing that.

This week coming he has a free Chemo week.
